The Azure Dive Resort in Dauin is only 18 kilometers from the heart of Dumaguete City, the thriving capital of the Negros Oriental province. Traveling from the Dumaguete City domestic airport to the municipality of Dauin takes only 30 minutes. Airport pick-ups and send-offs are taken care of by the resort’s private van.
If you plan on arriving from Manila, you can take a quick one-hour flight via Cebu Pacific Airlines which offers three daily flights to and from Dumaguete City. PAL Express, previously Philippine Airlines, is another option to consider. It flies twice daily to Dumaguete City and vice-versa. You can also take a plane ride from Mactan, Cebu to Dumaguete. If you plan on arriving from Cebu, you can also take the Ocean Jet, a fast craft that plies the Cebu-Dumaguete and Dumaguete-Cebu routes daily. You may check for schedules and rates at www.oceanjet.net. In addition, you can hire a private van to bring you to the Liloan, Santander port from the Mactan International Airport.
A van can accommodate up to seven people, including their gears. Travel time is approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes. When you reach the Port of Liloan, you can take another 25-minute ride on a fast craft that will bring you to the Negros Island. The resort’s private van will be waiting for you at the Sibulan port.
